Financial services for exporters and other international business cooperation

SID Bank provides the following services for Slovene exporters and investors abroad:

Primarily that is financing of long-term transactions on foreign markets and transactions of larger value. With this SID Bank complements the financing possibilities of companies from its own sources, and financing of their transactions by commercial banks and other financial institutions.

This is a special non-conventional form of financing of long-term projects, mainly from the area of traffic and municipal infrastructure, telecommunications, power supply, mining, paper industry, ecology, tourism, entertainment industry and the like. As a rule, this is financing of larger new projects or extensive widening of existing facilities, where credit and investment insurers and creditors in their decisions mainly rely on the planned future income of the project as the principal resource for the servicing of issued (insured) loans and the property of the project company as the main form of insurance (collateral).

SID Bank issues guarantees with the aim to promote export for performance of investment work abroad and for export of equipment or other goods. They are normally available in the form of service guarantees.
