Management and Supervisory Board

Borut Jamnik is an expert with over two decades of experience in the financial sector, insurance, and corporate governance. His career includes a pioneering role in establishing the first pension fund in Slovenia, which significantly contributed to the development of the domestic capital market and insurance industry. His professional ascent continued at Kapitalska družba, where he initially served as Deputy CEO and later held the position of CEO for two terms (2003–2005 and 2008–2011).

In addition, he held key roles in companies such as Hit and Probanka, and in 2011, he took over the management of Modra zavarovalnica, the largest pension fund manager in Slovenia. He was responsible for asset management, compliance, planning, controlling, strategic communication, as well as legal and HR matters. His career is also distinguished by his involvement on the supervisory boards of numerous companies, including Telekom Slovenije, Pivovarna Laško, Zavarovalnica Triglav, NLB, Luka Koper, Žito, Krka, Nova KBM, and others. Between 2012 and 2020, he served as the President of the Association of Supervisors of Slovenia, where he actively worked to enhance corporate governance standards in Slovenia.

Today, as the President of the Management Board and CEO of SID Bank, he leads key projects shaping the future of Slovenia's financial sector.

MSc. Stanka Šarc Majdič boasts over 20 years of experience in finance and banking. She began her career in the corporate sector, later focusing on risk management within various financial institutions.

As the Executive Director of Risk Management at Gorenjska Banka, she played a crucial role in managing risks and improving the bank's business processes, and before that she acquired and deepened her experience at Sparkasse and Hypo Alpe Adria Bank. Her career also includes experience in a marketing agency, where, as Head of Finance, Accounting, and IT, she implemented strategic improvements that optimized planning and financial reporting processes, significantly enhancing the agency's operational efficiency.

Her journey also led her into the fintech industry, where, as the Compliance Director, she successfully implemented systems for risk control and management while advising on business development.

As a member of the Management Board at SID Bank, she oversees the areas of risk, finance, and operations. Under her leadership, the team has introduced numerous innovative changes that have contributed to enhancing the bank's efficiency and strengthening its role in the Slovenian economy. Her broad expertise includes strategic planning, business finance, and the development of risk management tools. She is a goal-oriented leader, and her contributions to banking and the wider economy reflect a deep understanding of the financial sector and a strong commitment to the development of the Slovenian economy.
