Modra zavarovalnica joins the investment platform for investing in AIFs
Modra zavarovalnica joins the investment platform for investing in alternative investment funds, which is being developed by SID Kapital and SID Asset Management. The cooperation strengthens the integration of domestic institutional capital with investment opportunities and supports the development of the Slovenian capital market. Modra will allocate up to EUR 6 million for investments within the platform.
The inclusion of Modra fulfils one of the key ambitions of the open call: to attract other institutional and private investors in addition to SID Kapital's investments, and to connect capital for the development of the Slovenian economy. Through professionally managed funds, funds are directed to companies and projects with development potential.
SID Kapital acts as an investor in the open call, while SID Asset Management carries out the procedures for the consideration, assessment, implementation and monitoring of investments on its behalf and on its behalf. Modra is involved as an independent institutional investor who will invest from its own funds.
Modra zavarovalnica is the leading provider of supplementary pension insurance in Slovenia. It saves for an additional pension to more than 320 thousand members, and pays pension annuities to more than 61 thousand pensioners. As a long-term institutional investor, it emphasizes security, diversification of investments and long-term profitability in asset management. The platform remains open to cooperation with other institutional and private investors. Through its development, the SID banka Group wants to establish a long-term link between fund managers and sources of capital for the growth of the Slovenian economy.
